Jennifer Lay Lashes LUVER Adhesive is specially formulated with high-quality photoinitiators, allowing it to cure quickly and efficiently under a 5W UV/LED lamp. For best results, use with a lamp operating within the optimal wavelength range of 395–405 nm.
What are photoinitiators?
Photoinitiators are the active ingredients in UV/LED adhesives that react to specific wavelengths of light — triggering the curing process. LUVER Adhesive contains finely balanced photoinitiators to ensure a fast, even bond with superior retention and minimal irritation.
What’s the best way to store unopened adhesive?
Unopened adhesives should be stored in a cool, dark, and dry place to maintain product integrity. If a temperature-controlled environment is not available, refrigeration is an acceptable alternative. Always allow the adhesive to return to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation inside the bottle.
What’s the best way to store adhesive once opened?
Once opened, adhesives should be stored upright in a cool, dark location, away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Avoid storing near windows or in warm treatment rooms. Ensure the cap is tightly sealed after each use to extend shelf life and maintain optimal performance. UV/LED adhesive is very sensitive to sunlight, please avoid having it near direct sunlight!
How long can I use UV/LED glue after opening?
Once opened, UV/LED glue can be used for up to 12 weeks, provided it’s stored correctly. To maintain optimal performance, keep the bottle tightly sealed, stored upright in a cool, dark place, and protected from direct sunlight and humidity.
What happens if my adhesive was left outside during transit?
If your adhesive was exposed to typical outdoor temperatures during delivery, there’s usually no cause for concern — as long as it was protected from direct sunlight. That’s why we ship our adhesives in protective pouches/boxes , designed to insulate and shield them from heat.
We’ve tested our products under real shipping conditions, and adhesives remain stable even with 3–4 days of transit in standard summer weather. Once received, simply store your adhesive in a cool, dark place to maintain its quality.
How often should I replace my drop of UV glue?
We recommend replacing your drop of UV glue every 15–20 minutes, or sooner if you notice it starting to thicken or form a film on the surface. If your lash bed is near a window with natural light or LED lights within your salon, you may find the glue will start to thicken faster.
Even though UV glue doesn’t cure until exposed to light, air exposure can still affect its consistency and performance over time. Using fresh drops ensures optimal bonding, clean application, and maximum retention.
